Waiting for the news that Richard Armitage has been cast as Oberyn Martell or Victarion Greyjoy in Season 3 of Game of Thrones. Any day now…

Or maybe Mance Rayder? He would go from “King Under The Mountain” to “King Beyond The Wall” :)

Actually that’s an even better idea, then he and Jon Snow/Kit Harington can share the screen and eye-fuck each other to oblivion.

Rhaegar Targaryen plz!!!

OK, I’m not sure about the hair color, but still….

30 Day Richard Armitage Challenge

14. A favourite personal quote.

“Spoilers are the bane of my world. I just don’t get why one would want to spoil the ending. It’s like hunting for Christmas presents and then having to feign surprise on Christmas day.”

-Vulpes Libris: In Conversation with Richard Armitage

Kind of stuck at this one for a bit cause there’s just too many to choose from, then suddenly this quote came into mind. But it’s more of some opinion I share with him actually… although I think in some interviews he’d already revealed too much for my liking.

13. A favourite character quote.

“Colleagues are OK.”

I know this more of a quote from Ros, but I just love this little scene between the two of them.

12. Something about him you don’t like.

That the characters he played keep dying on screen.

Haven’t seen much of Ultimate Force so the death of Ian Macalwain didn’t bother me much. I can deal with the death of Heinz Kruger and even Guy because their fate more or less were settled at the beginning of the show/film. But then there’s John Porter…. I was really devastated after watching the first episode of the so called Strike Back season 2. The only relief was that it was so unrelated to the first series I could simply ignore its existence and imagine a different ending for my John Porter. But with Lucas North… I still don’t know how to think through it to at least make myself feel a little better. And then… here comes Thorin Oakenshield… surely my heart will break again at 2013….

8. A scene of his which made you cry.

“Lucas North is dead.” - Spooks, series 9, episode 7.

The first time watching this scene, I just didn’t know how to handle the emotional impact I felt towards it. Still couldn’t now.
